Who is Spoken Word Ministry ?

SWM is a group of believers who understand that the Body of Christ has to be empowered and educated concerning spiritual gifts.

We work to bring this understanding throughout, regardless of denominational barriers. We continue working to make our callings and elections sure.

History

In 1998 God placed a vision in the heart of Greg Sewell. This vision contained a ministry that would educate believers on their gifts and callings as well as minister to the whole man mind,body and soul.This vision gave birth to what is now known as Spoken Word Ministry.

In this vision God gave the mandate to serve and equip. Prophet Sewell's first message for this ministry was to inform those in attendance about Spiritual Gifts with a special emphasis on the Gift of Prophecy.

SWM started many outreach programs to continue in serving believers. SWM begin hosting "An Evening of Prophetic Movement" once a month. In this service spiritual gifts are encourage to go forth. we invite a speaker,singers,praise dancers to give them the oppurtunity to exercise their gifts and talents. As we continued to run with this vision, we begin to notice the need to educate the Body of Christ on Prophecy and through pray we begin to host the "Prophetic Conference".  Today we still have the desire to educate and to serve. 

Why the name Spoken Word Ministry ?

Prophecy is to speak on behalf of God. When you are speaking prophetic words you are speaking the spoken word of God.

  The Holy Spirit spoke to us when we were seeking for a name and told  us what this ministry should be called because this name will explain and express the supernatural power of God's prophetic movement!
